Aiming to meet the demands of producing alloys of silicon for both national and international market, producing high quality QUARTZ in a sustainable way, EBQ maintains a mineral research program aimed to increasing the its mineral reserves in the Brazilian territory mainly in the States of Minas Gerais and Bahia.
The current areas under research involve more than 32,000 hectares.
The mineral reserves of QUARTZ are estimated in 40,000,000 metric tons.
