SÃO DOMINGOS MINE
The mine, State of Bahia, is situated in the town named Ibitiara, 535km away from the port of Salvador (capital of Bahia), accessible by tarred highways.
The EBQ production in this region is exclusively focused on the SOLAR GRADE industry, having its own industrial crushing and classification unit with production capacity of 20,000 (twenty thousand) metric tons per month.
São Domingos Mine and the region around the mine has a QUARTZ ore reserve of 5,420,000 (five million and four hundred and twenty thousand) metric tons. The QUARTZ is presented as milk-white masses, sometimes crystalline, and it is not friable, being related to the regional metamorphism that constituted the morphologic aspect of the site, a set of primary ore in situ of hydrothermal origin in table-shaped bodies both in sub-horizontal and sub-vertical lines.
